Our founder - Ben Mitchell
Ben served in the Royal Australian Navy for almost 10 years. His dream had always been to serve as an elite Clearance Diver. He started off as a boatswains mate and eventually convinced the force to give him a crack at the grueling selection.
Ben took it upon himself to up his training regime and learn in more depth the mental toughness that will be required from him in the upcoming selection. These grueling 10 days required physical, mental and spiritual strength that no one can prepare you for. In 2012 Ben graduated Dux of his class as a member of Team 4 Clearance Diving Team.
From this experience Bens passion for personal growth grew. Others noticed this and organically reached out for advice and help with topics on fitness, health, mental toughness and military specific training. Ben enjoyed this mentoring role so tackled multiple certifications in the fitness industry.
After leaving the NAVY and working as a Strength and conditioning Coach in Bali, Sydney and Western Australia he was missing the community and comradery of his fellow team mates. Still being approached for advice on these topics “The Frogman Project” was born! A platform to connect, share, mentor, collaborate and support the broader fitness and military community.
